I am a California licensed and LEED BD+C accredited Architect, currently working for Gensler in Detroit. I have a wide veriaty of experience from high-end interiors, new core+shell construction, and existing building rehabilitation, having worked in the Phoenix, San Francisco, and Detroit markets. Prior to Gensler, my work centered around multi-family housing in the Bay Area. Current responsibilities now range from programming and document delivery to working closely with clients to ensure their project is realized as they expect it to be.
Prior to becoming an architect, I worked for Ryan Companies and Mortenson Construction with experiences that included a Health Club and Spa in Scottsdale, Spring Training stadiums for the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers, and police station & environmental education facility for the City of Chandler. Outside of the commercial/municipal sector, I have design and construction experience in single & multi-family residential, water/waste water treatment, and large scale wind power generation.
I received a Masters of Architecture degree with distinction from the University of Michigan in 2012 and hold a BS in Engineering from Arizona State University (2005). I am committed to the social responsibilities of architecture within our built environment and possess a passion for functional and ecologically-driven design.
