Though many understand the need for wind energy, few have experienced what it takes to make these projects a reality. The Majestic Wind Farm pushed the limits of endurance requiring the placement of fifty-three 300’ 1.5MW GE turbines within a five month duration. Beyond the turbines themselves, the project consisted of a high voltage sub station, M&O building, road improvements and a new underground electrical infrastructure. Total capacity of Majestic totaled 79.5MW, enough to power about 500 homes.
